Just some of the answers to questions that have been put to me, either from those forwarded 'questionnaire' e-mails or direct through this website...

If you could build a house anywhere, where would it be?

Somewhere near a Fjord in Norway, surrounded by lakes, mountains and tranquility.

What is your favourite article of clothing?

Probably jeans and a good comfy fleece. I'm not exactly a dedicated follower of fashion.

What's the last CD you bought?

'Songs from the Deep Forest' by Duke Special.

Where's your favourite place to be?

In bed with a good book and a good woman!

Where's your least favourite place to be?

Walking to work in the wind and rain.

What's your favourite place to be massaged?

Probably in the bedroom. Oh, I see what you mean now...

What's more important, being strong in mind or strong in body?

Strong in mind.

What time do you wake up in the morning?

Usually between 7 and 8am.

What's your favourite kitchen appliance?

I could say my expresso maker, electric juicer, sandwich toaster and the walk-in freezer. But you'd soon find me out. So that'll just be the fridge then.

What really makes you angry?

Rudeness, intolerance & arrogance.

If you could play any instrument, what would it be?

Flute or Saxophone.

Your favourite colour?

Purple.

Do you believe in an afterlife?

I'll let you know if I get there.

Favourite children's books?

Winnie the Pooh by A A Milne.

What is your favourite season?

Winter. Snow, crackling fires, hot tea and toast... fantastic.

What's your least favourite household chore?

Cleaning the bathroom. Or the kitchen. No, hoovering the lounge. Actually, just cleaning generally.

If you have a tattoo, what is it? If you don't what would you get and where?

Don't wear a tattoo, and I'm not bothered about getting one either - I hate the way they look on people. I suppose it would be useful to have my name and telephone number in case I get lost, or something really witty tattooed across my buttocks. Like a bumper sticker.

Can you juggle?

One ball - just about. Two or more - no.

Which person from your past do you wish you could go back and talk to?

My grandfather.

What's your favourite day?

Saturday - no work, and still another day left before the week begins again.

What's in the boot of your car?

I don't have a car at the moment. But if I did, it would be the usual useful rubbish.

Which do you prefer - sushi or hamburger?

Has to be the hamburger. Does anyone like sushi?

Have you ever been in love?

All the time.

Do you prefer Coke or Pepsi?

Only a chilled non-diet Coke will do.

What is your favourite kind of milk?

Full fat if I can get away with it. But usually semi-skimmed.

What does your name mean?

'Honouring God', from the greek name 'Timotheos'.

What is the worst feeling in the world?

Loneliness.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Roughly 10 years older.

What is the first thing you think of in the morning?

That went quickly.

Rollercoasters: deadly or exciting?

I'm not fond of having to change my underwear in public.

Contacts or glasses?

I'm short-sighted, so glasses... I can't stand contacts.

Do you sleep with a stuffed animal?

Only when I've eaten...

How many pillows do you sleep with?

Can't deal with anything less than two.

Thunderstorms: are they cool or scary?

Cool. If you're a good 30 miles away.

Do you eat broccoli stems?

What a random question. I love broccoli, so yes.

What's on your mousepad?

A very twee BT 'My Customer' slogan promoting international customer service week (previously it was Buzz Lightyear!)

What's your favourite board game?

Trivial Pursuit or Cluedo.

Who was your first television crush?

Philippa Forrester - children's TV presenter, but better known for 'Tomorrow's World'.
